Legislation

The UK Government are currently trialling the use of electric scooters in cities across the UK. Currently private scooters are only to be used on private land.

The Transport Committee have recommended that the legislation for electric scooters to be used in the same way as electric bikes is published as a matter of urgency. The legislation is expected to pass later this year.

General

Volter has a class leading weight limit of 120KG, meaning you can load it up with bags of shopping and other goodies!

Volter is guaranteed up to IP54 water resistance. This means your scooter is splash resistant. Volter should not be used in the rain.

The correct tyre pressure for your Volter is 36psi. It's really important to keep an eye on this. Riding a scooter with low tyre pressure is not only dangerous but will wear the tyre out quicker.

Your Volter comes with a manual in the box, you can also have a look at an online version here

Your battery will be fully charged in 8 hours. Keep an eye on the little light on the charger, this will show red when charging and green when it's finished.

There’s no legal minimum age to ride a Volter but we’d suggest riders should be 16 years and older.

Finance
